Job Description: Prevention Program Manager (PPM)
Position Summary: The Program Manager builds secure relationships with client management in their assigned territory to ensure the ongoing success of the program, as well as works with the Operations Supervisor to deliver high-quality service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On-Site Injury Prevention Program Management
- Collaborate with BIOKINETIX Operations Supervisor and client management to formulate and execute strategies for achieving and maintaining full participation in the program.
- Determine scheduling for assigned client locations
- Travels to multiple clients daily in a punctual manner.
- Facilitate and lead on-site injury prevention programs.
- Coach client employees to achieve proficiency in program movements and exercises.
- Record and enter data relating to BIOKINETIX Prevention Program Metrics into BIOKINETIX Software, forms and spreadsheets.
- Analyze data and produce reports with BIOKINETIX Prevention Program data for client management.
- Transport, assemble and maintain Company exercise equipment.
Education Programs
- Ensure educational topics are prepared and schedule rollout of material to designated clients based on client needs.
- Leverage BIOKINETIX internal training and other sources to create client education programs utilizing BIOKINETIX content and medical philosophies.
- Present educational material in both classroom and one-on-one settings on topics of health, wellness, and injury prevention.
Ergonomic/Body Mechanic Coaching
- Schedule the appropriate number of job site visits to meet client contractual needs in conjuncture with Program Specialists.
- Perform job site visits to observe body mechanics of employees performing tasks to identify at-risk behavior.
- Observe employees to assess the physical demands and stresses placed on various parts of the body while performing a given task.
- Recommend and demonstrate safer alternatives or supplementary exercises for at-risk behavior.
- Create observation reports and record data metrics to document job task findings and recommendations.
- Communicate and educate both IHHP and client management on results from job site visits.
Early Intervention Programs
- Oversee individual programs for the territory to ensure documentation procedures are being followed and that individual programs are being handled diligently.
- Develop rapport and trust with client employees to determine individualized program needs.
- Provide coaching on related health issues (e.g., soft tissue management for physical issues, nutrition recommendations, fitness and early intervention options, etc.).
- Develop and tailor strength and conditioning, return-to-work, early intervention, wellness and nutritional programs based on individual needs.
- Document and manage all individual programs and communicate relevant information to BIOKINETIX management and clients.
Client Relations
- Schedule and attend monthly meetings with client management; more frequently if needed (to be determined with Operations Supervisor).
- Prepare agenda, materials and reports for meetings with client management, as well as BIOKINETIX internal initiatives.
- Build secure relationships with client employees, field-level supervisors and mid-level management.
- Communicate program status with BIOKINETIX management and formulate solutions and strategies to address any issues or further develop the programs.
- Develop new programs and solutions as well as implementation strategies based on BIOKINETIX goals or client needs.
- Ensure that BIOKINETIX -branded equipment and educational materials provided to clients are well maintained and organized.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in health, wellness or exercise related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Kinesiotherapy, Nutrition, Health Promotions or Allied Health equivalent) is preferred.
- Proper certification/licensure at time of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years of applied work experience in industrial or clinical settings.
- Client service experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
